This listing is for the Bluetooth modification only. Circuit board housing can be added using the option available. The bluetooth is powered by 5v USB, cable supplied.
Overview
As many of you will know, the DeAgostini build comes with no eletrics whatsoever.
Horlix has developed a “Plug & Play” Bluetooth modification kit that will let you control all lighting functions and sound from your phone or tablet.
It’s as simple as making connections on the bluetooth circuit board to interact with the bike.
As standard, you’ll receive:
1 x Bluetooth Mod
1 x 2 3D mouting parts for lights
1 x Instruction leaflet
Option : Include Housing for the circuit board
1 x 3D Printed housing - the circuit board will be added to this by us.
Software
A bespoke android app has been written to connect your device to the bluetooth mod and operate the various functions.
Instructions will be provided in the leaflet for both apps.
Fitting Instructions
No instructions on the best method of fitting / routing cables as we find everyone has their own style. However, we'll give you a diagram on how we fitted ours.
The circuit board, comprising of sound board, bluetooth board and speaker sit under the rear seat cavity, shown in RED.
The rear light fitment (in GREEN) is s custom part that fits of the lugs at the rear, once the top item from the seat to the light is removed. You will see these two lugs on the underside.
The front light fitment (in YELLOW), we run under the fuel tank, under the air intakes, across and through the handlebars, to the front fairing.
Finally, the power cable (5v USB) (in BLUE) runs under the fuel tank, down between the coil suspension spring and out the bottom.
